GOOD NEWS: Alabama’s Defensive Nightmare Returns for 2025.

The Crimson Tide’s top pass rusher, made it clear on Wednesday – he’s returning for his senior season.

“The job’s not done,” Overton declared on Instagram. “I’m ready to face the challenges ahead and lead this team. I’m all in, chasing greatness with my brothers. As Kobe Bryant said – Job’s not finished! This is just the start. 2025 is about putting in the work. I’m coming back. Roll Tide!”

LT Overton dominated in 2024, racking up 38 pressures – almost twice as many as any other Alabama pass rusher, according to Pro Football Focus. He ended the season with 42 tackles, two sacks, a pass breakup, and a forced fumble, sharing snaps at the Bandit position with Jah-Marien Latham – Alabama’s edge rusher role.

After transferring from Texas A&M in 2024, Overton wasted no time making his mark. Although eligible for the NFL Draft, he’s pressing pause on the next step to return for one more run.

His decision locks down Alabama’s defensive edge. The Crimson Tide are also adding Florida transfer Kelby Collins, strengthening the Bandit position even more. Latham could return if he skips the draft, and Keon Keeley brings another layer of talent to the mix.

With Overton at the forefront, Alabama’s pass rush is gearing up to be lethal in 2025.
